Based in Melbourne, the role will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside industry and academic scientists and engineers. Tasks will include design and modelling of RF and EM components and systems, RF circuit design, prototyping, laboratory and field trial measurements and report writing.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, resourceful, and able to work independently.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Professional experience in RF/microwave engineering
• Demonstrated experience in computational electromagnetic modelling using CST or similar
• Demonstrated experience in design of antennas and/or EM components
• Experience in RF/microwave circuit design would be highly regarded
• Experience in analog circuit design would be highly regarded
• Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously (appropriate supervision and mentoring will be provided)
• Willingness to travel within Australia
• Australian citizenship is essential (permanent residents should NOT apply)
