About the role

Profinish Accident Repair Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team in Ringwood, Victoria. We have a small team, so if you are looking for autonomy and can manage your own schedule this position is for you. It is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team in a relaxed environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and painting vehicle surfaces to a high standard, ensuring a flawless finish
• Mixing and applying paint products in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the painting process
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to promote efficiency and safety
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely and quality-driven completion of projects
• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Spray Painter (5+ years' experience) in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of painting techniques and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Certification in automotive painting or a related field is highly desirable
