An exciting Communications and Marketing opportunity

Join our dynamic Corporate Affairs and Marketing team at ANDHealth and help us tell the stories and connect with our audiences as we grow Australia’s digital and connected health sector.

Reporting to the GM of Corporate Affairs, this role offers a great opportunity to develop all round Communications & Marketing skills in a fast-moving sector with huge potential.

Your daily objective will be to promote ANDHealth programs, events and stories - especially those at the Connected Health Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (CHICC) in Melbourne - while working with the team on longer term projects such ANDHealth publications, policy briefings and key messaging documents.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be working on everything from creating and curating marketing collateral, helping build our digital presence through social, maintaining and updating the website, building and distributing eDMs and maintaining our content and collateral so that we get the right message out at the right time through the appropriate channel. You’ll also be supported to work with the team to identify opportunities for further brand recognition for ANDHealth and its leadership team including assisting with award submissions and media opportunities as required.

What we’re looking for

We are interested in people with a relevant degree (Marketing, Communications) who are looking to commence their career or have recently kicked off their career with 1-2 years of relevant experience. This role suits all-rounders who have a mix of skills and experience. We are really interested in self-motivated, resilient people who want to:

• Help us to market and promote events
• Work under the mentorship of senior colleagues to develop content for our social media channels - supporting B2B comms via LinkedIn and other social platforms
• Utilise website content management systems so that we can maximises the reach, impact and access to our great content (we use WebFlow, but familiarity with another CMS is OK too).
• Use their fantastic admin and organisation skills to help manage mailing lists, segment our database, develop content and support structures that will help us communicate successfully with our target audience.

You have a strong work ethic, always look for a way to solve a problem with a solution first mindset and seek out opportunities to learn and grow. You meet deadlines, know how to prioritise when you are working in a fast-paced environment, and how to work with your team-mates when you are under pressure.

• Excellent written and verbal skills, with an eye to detail are essential.
• Experience or knowledge of scientific, healthcare or health technology communications would be awesome, but not essential.
• Graphic design and photography/video production skills are a bonus, including familiarity with design software such as the Adobe Creative suite and Canva and other digital marketing tools such as MailChimp.

Most importantly, you have the motivation and focus to work in a hybrid working environment. This means you need to be exceptional at communicating with the team, managing your workload, meeting deadlines and being self-motivated.

While we have a hybrid working policy, you will need to attend our Melbourne CBD premises on a regular basis.
