About the Role
Paddy’s Markets is seeking a Paddy’s Marketing Coordinator to execute campaign rollouts, social media management, content creation, events and activations coordination, and stakeholder engagement to promote Paddy’s Markets Flemington and Haymarket as must-visit destinations.
Reporting to the Paddy's Marketing Manager, this role will support Paddy’s, located in both Flemington and Haymarket across the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Marketing Manager in executing marketing campaigns that align with Paddy’s Markets’ strategic objectives.
- Manage, take ownership and grow the Paddy’s social media channels, including content planning, creation, content calendar, customer service and community engagement.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations, trader promotions, and campaign activations.
- Support the development of retail visual merchandising, on-site branding, signage, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with traders and stallholders to ensure effective participation in marketing initiatives.
- Assist in planning and running market activation events, including promotions, cooking demonstrations, entertainment, and customer activations.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, social media metrics, and customer insights.
- Liaise with external agencies, media partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally in retail, events, hospitality, or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Experience in coordinating events, activations, or promotional campaigns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is desirable.
- Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
- Flexibility and availability for occasional and planned weekend or evening events, bringing a can-do attitude to onsite activations.
- Experience working with market vendors, small businesses, or retail environments. (preferred)
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and email marketing tools. (preferred)
- Understanding of Sydney’s food, retail, and cultural scene. (preferred)
- Mandarin or Arab language proficiency (preferred)
