About The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support our business’s marketing efforts across digital, traditional and in-club activities. Reporting to the Group Brand & Marketing Specialist, you'll assist in driving lead generation, improving member retention, and elevating the Next Gen brand’s positioning in the marketplace.

This role requires a highly organised marketing professional who has strong attention to detail with experience in online platforms, campaign execution, and social media management. If you enjoy working in a collaborative team and have a proactive, hands-on approach, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, including asset creation, agency briefings, and performance monitoring.
  • Email & SMS Marketing: Support Group and Individual Club marketing efforts utilising Email and SMS Communications, ensuring timely execution of lead generation and member engagement activities.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee Group and individual Club social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google. Assist with the setup of paid social campaigns, post regular organic content to grow engagement and brand awareness, and respond to messages.
  • Content & Copywriting: Assist in crafting engaging copy for marketing campaigns, website pages, printed materials, newsletters, blog posts and more.
  • Website & SEO: Manage website updates, landing pages, A/B testing, and ensure SEO best practices are followed across all digital content.
  • Photography & Video Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating regular club content shoots with our in-house Photographer and Video Producer.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials align with the Next Gen brand guidelines, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Summarise results, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic action plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of marketing experience, ideally in a Fitness, Lifestyle or multi-location business.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience in Social Media Management - specifically Instagram.
  • Experience with Braze Marketing Software (or similar), WordPress or other Website CMS and Canva or Adobe.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in copywriting, with a keen eye for brand tone and storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively support various stakeholders.
  • A passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle industries is highly regarded.
  • A positive attitude with a love for what you do and the work you deliver.
