About the Company

Our client is a national leader in workforce solutions, partnering with top-tier organisations across construction, mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing. With a strong commitment to safety, innovation, and industry leadership, they ensure the wellbeing of their workforce while delivering exceptional recruitment and workforce management services.

Located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane and operating in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment, our client sees safety as a core value not just a compliance requirement. As they continue to evolve and expand, they are seeking a dynamic and influential safety leader to drive their national safety strategy.

About the Role

As the National Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping safety strategy, engaging stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer you will lead an experienced team across multiple states, ensuring 'best in class' safety practices for both clients and contractors.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will:

· Evaluate, enhance, and implement safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

· Lead and mentor a national team, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.

· Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing innovative safety solutions.

· Be a visible leader, engaging in on-site visits and working directly with clients to promote safety best practices.

About You

You are a proactive and strategic safety leader with the ability to influence, engage, and drive change. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and have a strong commercial mindset when it comes to safety.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

· 8+ years' experience in safety leadership roles within blue-collar industries (construction, mining, manufacturing, or multi-site operations).

· A track record of driving safety outcomes through influence and relationship-building.

· Experience leading multi-site safety teams, with a hands-on and visible leadership approach.

· Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation across multiple states.

· The ability to balance safety compliance with operational efficiency, working closely with recruiters and clients.

· A passion for innovation in safety, with a drive to implement best-in-class safety solutions.

The Benefits

Our client offers a range of perks and professional development opportunities to support your career growth and wellbeing, including:

· A competitive salary and flexibility in additional benefits.

· Work Flexibility - Hybrid work model with 2 days WFH and flexible hours.

. Professional Development - Tailored development plans, external study support, and structured leadership training.

· Extra Leave & Wellbeing Perks - Birthday leave, discounts on fitness & retail brands as well as many others.

· Regular Reward & Recognition - Quarterly awards, team events, and a national staff conference.

· Career Growth - Be part of an expanding business with opportunities for progression and innovation-driven incentives.
