Workfast is seeking HV Engineers for a valued client based at various FIFO sites, WA, for an ongoing long term role.

What you get

• $75-$85 per hour
• Ongoing long term role
• 10-12 hour days

What you need

• Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) systems.
• Transformer Testing – Turns ratio, winding resistance, insulation resistance, PI, tan delta, SFRA.
• Switchgear Testing – Operation/Interlocks, Functional checks, IR & ductor, CB timing test, CTs, VTs, and AC Hipot test.
• High Voltage Cable Testing – IR & VLF test.
• Hands-on experience with OMICRON test equipment, CPC-100 & CT Analyzer is a must.
• Earth Grid & Grounding System Testing – Earth resistance (FOP), and step & touch potential.
• Documentation & Reporting – Preparing test reports.

What you will be doing

• Experience with Omicron test gear is a must.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience in HV substation testing & commissioning
