Senior Electrical Engineer (Brisbane, QLD)
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client in Brisbane (EPCM) to be working on various mineral processing studies and projects! This will be a 12-months initial contract, with a view to convert to permanent staff. The role will be based in Brisbane office (Brisbane CBD), Monday – Friday office hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing electrical & instrumentation designs & calculations for LV and MV, MCC, switchrooms, switchgears, etc.
• Specification and technical document writing
• Assist with project delivery outcomes such as scheduling, cost control and procurement activities.
• Although this position is based in Brisbane CBD, there may be short periods of onsite work to support construction, commissioning or operating plant activities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical/Controls Engineering Degree (recognised by Engineers Australia)
• Minimally 5 years of relevant working experience with mineral processing or mining projects, ideally with site exposure.
• Experience with power system and LV/MV design.
• ETAP software proficiency is advantageous
• Experience in stages of project development and delivery (studies, engineering & construction, commissioning) is highly advantageous!
• Current Australian working rights – Citizen / PR or Eligible Visa
