Lead Electrical Engineer (Site Commissioning)

Our client are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world.

We require a Lead Electrical Engineer (Site Commissioning) to join a site-based construction & delivery team, contributing & coordinating in construction close out and pre commissioning / commissioning activities on a major international mineral processing project.

Project: Wet Processing Plant Commissioning Projects (Gold, Copper, Nickel, Lithium)

Location: Africa

Roster: 6 weeks on : 2 weeks off Roster

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Key Requirements:

Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the gold or copper mining industrial & complex operational assets

Experience in coordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope

Experience in remote plant construction close out and pre-commissioning / commissioning activities

Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving the design, (not necessarily an entire project!)

Current Australian working rights – Citizen / PR or Eligible Visa
