We are partnered with a Local Government organisation in Caboolture to recruit a Customer Service Officer for a six-month assignment with possible extension.

Your new role

Join this local council call centre team to deliver exceptional customer service by efficiently addressing enquiries, issues, requests, and applications. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing accurate and appropriate responses to customer enquiries.
• Compiling requests, processing applications, and handling financial transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, practices, procedures, and service standards, while assisting in the development of procedures and processes with a customer-focused approach.
• Contributing to team development and fostering a positive working environment.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to handle high work volumes with precision, and effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to full-time classroom-style training and an electronic training environment.
