This established and reputable business is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Receptionist / Practice Manager to join their team located central to the Sunshine Coast region. This permanent position is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a specialised allied health practice.

Your new role

The role of Senior Receptionist / Practice Manager is pivotal to the success and growth of the business. You will have the opportunity to add value to the business with your expertise in setting objectives and planning strategies. You will lead an inspired team of two whilst managing the operations & administration / reception functions of the business. Other duties involve:

  • Providing strong patient / customer service both in person and via the telephone
  • Management of clinic bookings
  • Running reports, management of payroll via XERO (3 staff)
  • Reviewing and updating polices and procedures and providing support with HR administration duties along with onboarding and offboarding of staff
  • Coordination of staff meetings
  • You will need to respond to a variety of requests with a matter of urgency and confidentiality.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have previous experience in a similar role as a Senior Receptionist & Practice Manager, ideally with a background working within allied health or specialised practice.
  • You must have exceptional computer literacy, highly developed organisational skills, analytical skills, and the maturity to handle a range of situations while working to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package is critical.
  • Software knowledge of Zanda & XERO would be highly desirable.
  • Medical / Allied Health Qualifications will be highly regarded.
