About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Participant Engagement Officer to join our team in Townsville. This role is available part-time or full-time, starting with a 3-month trial period, with the potential for a permanent position.
As a key representative of Boldli, you will be responsible for growing our participant base by actively engaging with the community, building relationships, and promoting our services. This role is ideal for someone with a go-getter attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with potential participants, families, and referrers to promote Boldli’s services.
- Build and maintain strong community relationships, including with local organisations, health professionals, and disability networks.
- Attend community events, expos, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness.
- Provide information and guidance on our services to potential participants and their families.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new participants.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase participant engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and report on outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in community engagement, business development, sales, or disability support services.
- Is an outgoing, confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
- Has a strong understanding of the NDIS and the needs of participants (or is eager to learn).
- Works well independently and is highly self-motivated.
- Has strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Holds a valid driver’s licence and has access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Holds or is willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card.
