We are family-run jewellery business based in Paddington, Sydney, specialising in refined, high-quality fashion jewellery. Our jewellery reflects timeless beauty and modern sophistication. We are looking for a passionate Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Digital Media and Ecommerce Manager to bring our brand story to life. This role involves social media content creation, managing our social media platforms, designing and sending EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail), and assisting in executing our marketing strategy. This is a four-day-per-week on-site role based in our Paddington office.
- Develop and execute engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook).
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our social media channels including posting, scheduling, and community management.
- Collaborate with our team to create visually stunning content aligned with our brand aesthetic.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance using analytics tools to optimise strategies.
- Design and manage the creation of EDMs using our marketing platform.
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns and promotions across digital channels.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages.
The Skillset
- Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera, contributing to dynamic content creation.
- Photography skills with an eye for capturing refined and brand-aligned visuals.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within the fashion, beauty, or jewellery industries.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Experience with EDM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of brand aesthetics and storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
- A passion for fashion, jewellery, and design.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Shopify.
- Video editing skills for creating short-form content (e.g., Reels, TikToks).
