My client is an multi award winning national food manufacturer and category leader in the protein category who also pioneer sustainability for the industry, and they're looking for a driven Senior Sales Executive to join their team in Queensland. Following an exciting restructure, they are looking to expand their team with a passionate Senior Sales Executive who is ready to make an impact in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
The Role:
This is a brand new position, offering an exciting blend of new business development and account management. You will be responsible for driving sales growth across Queensland, working with key food service distributors to build strong, lasting relationships with customers in the HORECA/hospitality channel channel. Your ability to identify new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts will be critical to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand market share across Queensland.
- Manage and grow relationships with food service distributors, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored sales proposals.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs through a combination of new business acquisition and account management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product offerings meet client needs.
- Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management.
About You: To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, high-energy, and has a proven track record of success in sales. You should have a passion for the food industry and be driven to achieve targets.
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience selling food products in a distributor, into the food service channel (HORECA/Hospitality).
- Proven ability in both new business development and account management.
- Experience in the protein category, Poultry, Seafood, Beef, Lamb or Pork (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A go-getter attitude with a high level of self-motivation and determination to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Full Australian working rights.
