About the role:

Due to continuing growth, we're looking for a highly organised and passionate Showroom Sales and Service Team Leader with impeccable organisation and people skills, to join and lead our dedicated and driven sales and service team. On offer, is a full-time, Monday to Friday leadership role with fantastic growth and development opportunities based in Oakleigh South. Start date late April to early May 2025.

Responsibilities:

Answering customer technical and sales enquiries and providing great service around product, pricing, stock, delivery issues and returns, in person, via phone, email and chat;

Manage and mentor a passionate team of sales and service consultants, situated on site and remote;

Managing consultant escalations positively and efficiently and within business guidelines and expectations;

Support the Assistant Manager with balanced workflow coordination between all consultants;

Coordination and management of daily meetings with remote consultants;

Manage supplier relationships and escalations with support from both the Assistant and Sales and Service Manager;

Focus on continuous improvement of current processes and Salesforce system optimisation;

Open communication with management and other departments, for any new developments or potential team impacts as identified;

Facilitate training and development for existing sales and service team;

Targeting and sourcing new retail, trade and wholesale clients to promote the organisation’s presence throughout the region through daily dealings and/or leading the way through proactive commercial call follow up;

Proactive coordination of calls to customers to positively grow online product review rating and further promote Fanco brand advocacy;

Actively coordinating/supporting wholesale/trade customers in line with relevant pricing structures (MYOB)/policies in place;

Actively coordinating and supporting the proactive follow up process of trade accounts with support from the Sales and Service Manager and the marketing team.

Experience and skills required:

Min. 2 years experience with leading a team;

Min 3-4 years experience / knowledge in technical products;

Meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking abilities;

Passionate about providing extraordinary customer service and superior resolution skills;

Exceptional communication and time management skills;

Experience using accounting software (such as MYOB or equivalent);

Experience using Salesforce highly advantageous;

Experience working in a fast-paced environment;

Proficient computer skills and a fast learner;

Superior organisational and administration skills;

Knowledge of electrical products highly advantageous;

Ability to establish strong networks with internal and external stakeholders;

Previous experience in lighting / electrical industry highly advantageous;
