We have recently won significant new work with major clients and need additional resources to support our increased workloads and demands.

Traffic Planner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Traffic Planner to join our team to focus on supporting our clients’ daily traffic planning needs such as creating traffic plans and related documents, conducting site audits and building & maintaining relationships with clients.

Previous experience with ‘Rapid Plan’ or equivalent Traffic Management software is necessary. Experience-based roadside safety awareness and excellent written and verbal communication are also essential for this role. You will need great customer service as the role will involve face-to-face meetings with clients and stakeholders and part of the role will be directly working with one of our key clients on a major road construction site.

The role is based in Nowra in the Shoalhaven and initially be for a 2-year contract with the potential to become permanent depending on performance.

Traffic Control Team Leaders

We are looking for fully qualified and experienced Traffic Control Team Leaders to safely setup and direct traffic through client worksites and oversee teams of qualified traffic controllers ensuring the safety of road users and construction workers while maintaining traffic flow. We are looking for Team Leaders with strong leadership and communication skills, extensive technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Team Leaders will be appointed on a casual basis and could be asked to work anywhere within our operational area and would be entitled to living away-from-home allowances if assigned to remote projects.

Traffic Planner

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager and clients to effectively and efficiently prepare traffic management documentation to meet client and statutory requirements including:

o Traffic Management Plans (TMP), risk assessments, Vehicle Movement Plans (VMP), Pedestrian Movements Plans (PMP)

o Traffic Staging Plans (TSP), including temporary roadways and detours design drawings (if not part of the TMP) in accordance with Clause 2.3 in Spec G10

o Traffic Incident Management Plan in accordance with Clause 2.7 in Spec G10.

o Traffic Guidance Schemes

· Forecast and plan for upcoming construction activities in conjunction with client delivery teams for specific projects.

· Communicate professionally with all Stakeholders on Traffic Management requirements for projects and establish all plans and documentation required to support various phases of construction/events/activities.

· Apply for TfNSW Road Occupancy Licences (ROLs), local council s138 certificates and other authority permits and approvals to meet client and statutory needs.

· Communicate any operational and site requirements to the Scheduling Manager to ensure necessary details are provided to clients and traffic teams.

· Conduct reviews and Road Safety Audits of Traffic Management Plans and Temporary Roadways or Detours (including site attendance and reports) to confirm compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

· Contribute to the preparation, review and update of company WH&S, Environmental and Quality systems and documents.

· Carry out general administrative tasks associated with the role including document control, permit management, and records management to support efficient project planning and control.

Requirements:

· Significant experience in civil and construction traffic management.

· Qualified as a PWZTMP (Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan) in NSW is essential and previous experience in preparing traffic-related plans, permits and administration in similar industries will be highly regarded

· Qualifications as a TCR (Traffic Controller) and IMP (Implement Traffic Plans), with on-site experience.

· Knowledge of the TfNSW Traffic Control at Work Sites & Australian Standards for traffic control manuals is essential.

· Analytical skills and logical problem-solving skills.

· Good computer literacy and ability to pick up new technology well

· Preferred experience with Invarion RapidPlan Software

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and time management skills

· Level 3 certification, and being listed on the NSW Centre for Road Safety’s Register of Road Safety Auditors, would be advantageous.

· A positive and can-do attitude

Benefits:

· Initial appointment to a 2-year full-time contract, and potential to transition to permanency depending on performance and work needs.

· Attractive salary of $85–$95,000k + super + allocated vehicle for work use, negotiable depending on experience.

Casual - Traffic Control Team Leaders

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and lead a team of traffic controllers.

· Ensure all traffic control operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.

· Coordinate with site managers & construction crews

· Implement and adjust traffic control plans as needed.

· Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.

· Train and mentor team members.

· Manage equipment and resources effectively.

· Prepare and submit daily reports and documentation.

· Handle any issues or incidents that arise during operations.

Requirements:

· Traffic Controller (TCR) Ticket

· Implement Traffic Plans (IMP) Ticket

· Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (PWZTMP) ticket

· Construction Induction Card (White Card)

· Proven experience in traffic control and leadership roles.

· Strong understanding of traffic management plans and safety protocols.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

· A valid driver's license.

· Flexibility to work various days, including nights and weekends.
