Deploy your marketing expertise in an organization that mixes purpose with financial services. ASFA – the voice of super – is looking for a Marketing Lead to lead our small but perfectly-formed team at a pivotal time.

We are looking for someone to bring fresh ideas, innovative techniques and develop and implement new brand-awareness strategy and marketing strategies for our Learning and Events.

As the peak body for superannuation, ASFA plays an important role in supporting our members from across the superannuation sector with research, advocacy, education and collaboration to help Australians enjoy a dignified retirement.

What you’ll bring:

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Experience in developing, implementing, and measuring multi-channel digital marketing communication strategies is essential.
  • Fresh ideas for content creation: Strong ability to create compelling, clear, and accurate content for different platforms (e.g., newsletters, blogs, social media posts, reports).
  • Strong brand-building experience: proven ability to conceive and run always-on campaigns as well as product-specific campaigns
  • Content Management & Technical Knowledge: Experience with CMS like WordPress. Working knowledge of HTML an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze market data, interpret insights, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly to improve performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to run a team
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications & experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign execution and brand management
  • Management experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Wordpress

Desirable:

  • Experience in the financial services or superannuation sector
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing for an education provider OR an events provider
  • Microsoft Dynamics (or similar CRM)
