About the role
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader the Customer Service Representative role is key to the success of the business, our Customer Experience team form an integral part of our strategy and our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
This role is based in Lidcombe with onsite parking available.
Full-time schedule - The customer service department operates Monday - Friday 6am to 6pm, Saturday – Sunday 6am to 4pm.
Main tasks/responsibilities
The list below is not exhaustive, and the duties/responsibilities may vary to meet the overall objectives of the company.
- Manage inbound and outbound contact with customers using our ticket management software and cloud-based telephony
- Communicate any short deliveries including a reason + a substitute
- Notify customers of out of stocks, late deliveries, late order submissions and out of schedule orders
- Challenge processes and procedures, identify and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience or improve operational efficiency.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate all information clearly and in a timely manner.
- Manage and resolve escalated customer issues and provide solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through analysing and challenging processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Be a role model and build a culture of customer experience excellence

Essential Criteria
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and engaging, who is customer obsessed. You will be able to work in a team environment while having the ability to multitask, prioritise and work autonomously.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Contact Centre experience is highly regarded
- Experience with ticket management, CRM or ERP software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Work well independently and in a team environment
- Great organisational skills
