Job Opportunity: Heavy Truck Mechanic at Progressive Diesel Maintenance

Progressive Diesel Maintenance is looking for a highly skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic with strong diagnostic abilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing both light and heavy trucks and trailers, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Experience with Earth Moving Equipment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy trucks.
• Repair and replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Utilize diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Heavy Diesel Mechanic certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy truck mechanic.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy truck mechanics, covering engine systems, electrical systems, and suspension systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license (HR License is advantageous).
