About the role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Armstrong's Plant Hire Pty Ltd in Griffith, NSW. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks and heavy machinery. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on a variety of diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
• Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
• Providing guidance and support to other members of the maintenance team
• Ensuring a safe and efficient work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the truck and heavy machinery industry
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engine repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
