Are you a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking for a high-paying, stable role? Join a well-equipped workshop in Forrestfield and work on a range of Kenworth, DAF, Isuzu, and Fuso trucks, as well as road trains and other heavy vehicles.

This opportunity offers Monday to Friday hours (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with optional overtime, providing excellent earning potential and long-term work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds on heavy vehicles, including trucks and road trains
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using computer-based tools
• Carry out engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system maintenance, and suspension work
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and performance
• Work within a modern, well-equipped workshop that prioritizes safety and efficiency
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the team

Requirements

• Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Experience working on Kenworth, DAF, Isuzu, and Fuso trucks (other manufacturers also considered)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with computer-based service tools
• A safety-first approach and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
