Your New Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth across the Commercial, Retail, Residential, and Industrial sectors in NSW. You will be focused on promoting our client’s premier garage doors, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
Key responsibilities:
- Canvassing for New Business: Actively seek out new accounts and expand our client’s brand through face-to-face on-site visits.
- Building Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with dealers and builders, focusing on quality service, retention, and business growth.
- Sales Quotes & Follow-Ups: Prepare accurate sales quotes and follow up with clients to close deals.
- On-Site Measurements: Conduct field measurements of garage door openings to ensure accuracy for quoting and order processing.
- Customer Support: Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries, provide accurate quotes, and guide them through the product range.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle additional tasks as required, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards.
About You
We’re looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record in business development or sales within the garage door industry. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for building lasting relationships, and be able to handle multiple client needs simultaneously.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience within the garage door or similar industry is a MUST!
- A strong history of generating new business and managing key accounts successfully.
- High attention to detail and exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel across the state to meet client demands.
- Resilience and adaptability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Perks
- Base Salary cicra $110,000 - $130,000 (flexible depending on experience) + Super + Commissions
