The Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our team. With new shutdown/projects works commencing, offering industry leading rates and attractive incentives, there has never been a better time to join the SGC Australia Team!

Responsibilities:

• Leading, directing and motivating staff;
• Coordinating and scheduling of electrical works
• Day to day supervision and coordination of electrical crew
• Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others
• Report incidents, non-conformances and near misses and participate in incident investigations when required
• Collaborating with project managers, electrical disciplines, and other stakeholders
• Conduct toolbox talks and prestart meetings

About you:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisor position
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Superintendent position
• Previous experience working on remote mine sites
• Sound understanding of general electrical shutdown works
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• WA Electrical Licence
• S26 (Highly Regarded)
• BHP, RTIO, FMG inductions (Highly Regarded)
• Working at Heights & Confined Space
• Construction Industry White Card
• Basic Fire Training
• Gas Test Atmospheres
• CPR/LVR
• Valid C Class Driver’s licence
• Proof of Right to Work in Australia
