We’re looking for a skilled Talent and Retention Partner to join our team. About the role:

The Talent and Retention Partner is key to building and retaining our outstanding team and supporting our operational needs. In this impactful position, you will manage the entire talent lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging top talent to ensuring a smooth onboarding, probation and exit experience. You’ll partner closely with our hiring managers across the organisation to understand their unique needs and drive the search for the best candidates to support our amazing clients.

Your expertise will shape the candidate journey, ensuring every individual has an exceptional and seamless experience with Forsight, from initial outreach to final offer to onboarding. You’ll actively build and manage a pipeline of talent, while also supporting our employer branding initiatives to position Forsight as an employer of choice in the disability sector.

In this role, you’ll not only focus on filling positions but will also contribute to our long-term attraction, recruitment and retention strategies. Your passion, drive and expertise will ensure we have the right talent to meet our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role definition to job posting to candidate offer, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and our hiring managers
  • Talent Sourcing: Proactively source and identify talent using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each team and role, providing guidance on role definition, job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview processes. Coach hiring managers on Forsight’s recruitment process and interviewing skills to ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Screening and Interviewing: Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment, Onboarding processes, and first 100 days, providing timely communication, feedback, and support
  • Employer Branding: Promote Forsight’s culture and values to potential candidates, ensuring that our employer brand is communicated effectively in the market
  • Induction and Probation Support: Ensure new team members are booked into all induction activities related to their role, and engage with them and their hiring manager for the duration of their probation period
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics, candidate quality and sourcing effectiveness, turnover and engagement in probation to continuously improve our recruitment and retention processes. Provide continuous feedback on areas of concern as well as success.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Support Forsight’s commitment to diversity and inclusion by ensuring that hiring practices are fair, unbiased, supportive, and inclusive.
  • In-house innovation: Continuously review and assess how Forsight recruits, review and trial new methodology, recommend improvements

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role, preferably, but not essential, in a not-for-profit environment
  • Previous experience in the disability, or a related sector, would be highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary recruitment processes, interview techniques, and candidate assessment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment, managing multiple roles simultaneously
  • Experience using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS), with previous implementation experience desirable as we explore new systems
  • Familiarity with employer branding strategies and promoting company culture to potential hires
  • Strong time management and organisation skills with high attention to detail and follow-through critical
  • Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field
