As a Construction Project Manager for Mi Global Construction, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the construction of modular buildings, sheds and kit homes. You will work closely with, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end construction
- Team management, collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage and drive KPI’s to maximise profit and maintain cash flow
- Oversee the preparation of project schedules and budgets and ensure these are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met and maintain a strong safety culture on site.
- Client communication, regularly liaise with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction and ensure that risks are mitigated.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- On site co-ordination, oversee work at project sites, conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and approvals, are up-to-date and in place.
- Problem solving, address challenges as they arise, ensuring projects stay on track.
Key Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations and industry best practice with 5 years’ experience in project management in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills to drive success.
- Experience managing budgets to schedule.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sub-contractors effectively.
- Expertise is reporting, budgeting, and planning skills, with a track record of meeting schedules.
- Demonstrated success in delivering construction services in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
