Experienced construction project manager required for Client side organisation

Your new role

Being the client-side project construction manager you will oversee the management of all project delivery in line with expectations and standards. You will ensure projects achieve specified outcomes and meet quality expectations. Manage the oversight of specialist contractor functions relating to engineering, safety, quality and site management and supervision.

The primary purpose of the Construction Manager role is to lead the process of delivery of project works, provide oversight and assistance to the Project Directors & Executive Project Managers in the execution and delivery of the contracted works by a number of difficult contractors and specialist suppliers to ensure the performance targets are met and potential sources of risk are mitigated.

Strong experience in design management, quality control, ability to manage builders effectively

What you'll need to succeed

A construction related Degree, Engineering, Construction Management etc
10 + years in the construction market
Strong and stable background working for a Tier 1 or 2 builder- building related projects
Extensive experience in delivering projects $1m- $50m, 3 - 8 month timeframes
Client side consultancy PM experience would be beneficial
Project experience specifically in building services and fitout-related projects (not residential, civil etc)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
Experience ideally working in live environments
Based here in Melbourne ready to go
