About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Mitchell, ACT. This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

●Plan, organise, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.

●Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring project adherence.

●Coordinate labour, procurement, and delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

●Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.

●Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.

●Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

●Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance standards are met.

●Oversee and mentor site supervisors and project teams.

Skills & Experience

●Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

●1-2 years of experience in construction project management.

●Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

●Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

●Knowledge of Australian building codes and safety regulations.

●Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
