General / Restaurant Manager
As the captain of Holy Ship you will have a passion for service and the skills to mentor and train your team. With the customer experience first and foremost communication and an outgoing, friendly personality is a must for this position. Managing all aspects of ordering and inventory this role will co ordinate and maintain all aspects of Holy Ship daily operations.
Skills that you will bring to the table:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the venue
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Coach, motivate, monitor, and manage the team’s performance
- Play an active role in business planning, development, and liaising with the local community
- Enhancing the Holy Ship experience by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions
- Implementing and controlling policies and procedures
- Ability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekends
- Adherence to procedures and financial performance
- Achieving and beating KPI'S
- Control purchasing and inventory levels
- Marketing and lead generating experience

To be successful in this role, you must have strong leadership and customer service experience within the hospitality industry. Above all else, you will be a focused and highly dependable team member who will complement our existing team and take it to the next level. In addition, you will have:

- Be able to work autonomously and manage time critical tasks independently
- The ability to create a positive venue experience ensuring high standards of service and venue presentation ensuring the venue is fully operational and compliant at all times
- Have a solid understanding of best practice hospitality procedures, work health and safety and quality standards
- Well-developed computer skills for POS, rostering database, and Google Suite. Previous experience with Square is an advantage but not a mandatory requirement
- Demonstrated drive for revenue growth with an understanding of budgets, wage and COG targets

- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Current Queensland RMLV
- First Aid Certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- QLD Drivers Licence
