Majors Group Australasia Pty Ltd is the market leader in everything Gelato / Ice Cream / Acai related, and we are searching for an experienced Service & Parts Manager to join our team.
Desirable Monday to Friday working hours with free on site parking and uniform provided.

The Service & Spare Parts Manager is responsible for liaising with the company’s customers and technicians in relation to equipment services and spare parts requests. This includes, but is not limited to; customer service, logging service requests, dispatchingtechnicians, reporting on service outcomes and invoicing for call outs where appropriate.
The successful applicant will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and be willing to assist with the implementation of new procedures and processes. ServiceM8 experience desirable
Other duties as follows;
1.1 CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES
a. Coordinate and manage end to end processes for the service department;
b. Manage customer requests, enquiries and complaints in relation to service;
c. Obtain crucial information from the customers regarding the requested and/or required work and record the appropriate information in the company’s database;
d. Act as the main point of contact and resolve any customer queries in relation to receiving, storing, moving and supping of parts and consumables together with the management of service and warranty maintenance requests;
e. Ensure prompt and courteous responses to customers at all times;
f. Project a positive and professional image at all times, and assist customers in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
1.2. SERVICE REQUEST COORDINATION
a. Determine the scope of the repair or maintenance work required, prioritise the work orders and communicate this information to the Service Technicians and customers;
b. Organise, distribute and verify the work orders for the Service Technicians;
c. Allocate physical and human resources to the repair and warranty call outs;
d. Prepare and distribute process reports, when requested;
e. Create technical service quotes and invoices and obtain payments;
f. Maintain computerised information systems, as required by the company;
g. Perform all administrative duties appropriate to the Service Department.
1.3. SPARE PART REQUEST COORDINATION
a. Manage and action all national spare parts enquiries;
b. Use Greentree to assist with the quoting and processing of parts orders and requests;
c. Liaise with our procurement department to order and coordinate parts from our Italian suppliers;
d. Access and utilise supplier websites to download exploded diagrams, identify parts and lodge new orders where required.
