We are looking for a highly motivated experienced General Manager- Service & Parts (Fixed Operations) for our Nissan and Renault dealership located in the Bunbury region.

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the service and parts departments including a team of Service Advisors, Parts Interpreter and Technicians. Your role includes a focus on meeting and exceeding financial, customer, manufacturer and Dealership targets, driving efficiencies within the business to ensure success for the dealership, managing and coaching the team, working closely with other internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the service and parts departments, reporting and general service administration where required.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day to day running of the service and parts departments.

Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to each customer.

Experience mentoring, leading, and helping teams to meet KPIs.

Meeting the owners’ requirements

Marketing the service department to generate service bookings.

Follow up calls to customers after the service to ensure a positive experience.

Long term strategic planning in consultation with CFO and DP.

About you:

Previous experience working as a Fixed Operations Manager or Senior Service Manager in an Automotive workshop in the past 5 years.

Experience in managing teams with a proven track record of achieving KPI’s and customer satisfaction.

The ability to provide expert advice and guidance to our customers.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants for this position MUST have strong, solid, current or recent Service Manager experience gained ideally in a medium to large or multi franchised new car dealership environment. You will have strong management, financial and people-handling skills, along with the drive and energy to succeed. You will be able to motivate your staff to achieve their highest potential, whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction and profitability are treated with equal importance.

Salary on offer for this role will consist of a retainer starting from $80k plus super (based on experience), commission structure and company vehicle. Total Package should be around $120-$150k provided you can meet manufacturer targets, internal budgets and KPI’s. A contribution towards your relocation expenses may also be offered for the right candidate.
