Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and organised Casual Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our reception area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and correspondence
• Handle client enquiries and provide information as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
• Provide support to other team members as required
• Manage patient billings, including processing payments, generating invoices, and handling billing enquiries

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly and approachable demeanour
• Previous experience in a medical reception role, preferably in a general practice or cardiology clinic setting.
• Professional Presence: As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be expected to maintain a professional and presentable appearance, adhering to high standards of personal hygiene and dress code, reflecting the values and standards of our medical centre.
• Proficient in clinical software systems (Best Practice), Microsoft Office suite, and Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) billing and processing.
