About the role

We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Retina & Vitreous Centre in Sydney, NSW. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our busy ophthalmology practice.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Handling patient inquiries and booking procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
• Assisting with the preparation of invoices, processing payments and Medicare claims
• Providing general administrative support to the clinical team

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and MS Office suite
• A friendly, professional and empathetic approach when interacting with patients
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in medical administration or a similar field would be highly regarded
• Korean speaking advantageous, but not necessary
