About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Mount Morgan Medical in Mount Morgan, Queensland. As a casual Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals. What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality
• Handling incoming phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
• Assisting with medical billing and insurance claims processing
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
• Providing general administrative support to the medical team as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-oriented role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office equipment
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
• A friendly, positive, and helpful attitude with a genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
• Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
