Join us as the Internal Communications Manager for ANZ, where you will play a critical role in shaping and leading our communication efforts across the organisation. In this position, you will be directly involved in developing, creating, and implementing communication strategies across all functions and distribution centers in ANZ. As a key content creator and communicator, your work will help ensure that our employees feel connected to our company and that we meet our customers’ needs effectively.
Day to Day you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the ANZ Leadership Team to translate business priorities into effective internal communications that resonate with our workforce
- Work closely with corporate functions (HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain) to develop and execute communication strategies that connect the workforce, drive results, and achieve business objectives
- Drive communication around annual Employee Engagement Surveys and other internal initiatives in partnership with HR
- Oversee communication processes, including channel identification, content creation, and strategy execution.
- Support change management initiatives and business optimisation efforts through clear and concise communications
- Liaise with global Communication team to ensure consistent corporate branding across all internal and external communications channels
- Develop a framework for measuring the impact of internal communications and make these insights visible to leaders and managers
- Serve as the point of contact for media responses and crisis management for the ANZ business, collaborating with Global Communications teams and local PR advisors as needed
About You:
- Energetic, a natural engager, with a passion for sharing insights and communicating across all levels
- Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, marketing or related field
- Significant experience in in-house communications roles and comfortable in a stand-alone environment
- Ability to quickly establish credibility as a business partner
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crafting compelling content
- You are preferably well-versed and confident in using various media/software, including video and photo editing applications
- Ability to work at pace, think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Experience with electronic communications, including intranet, video, and social media
- Ability to travel and to support communications initiatives and/or crisis events out of standard operating hours
