Salary/Level: Level 5, $101,122 - $110,517 p.a. plus Superannuation

Tenure: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Fremantle and Rottnest Island (commuting), Western Australia

This position supports the management of the corporate communication and media relations functions for the Rottnest Island Authority (RIA). With a pipeline of major infrastructure projects, this position supports the management of the corporate communication and media relations functions for Rottnest Island Authority. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this role involves developing and implementing communications strategies, advising on internal projects, and managing key stakeholder communication delivery.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrate experience in the delivery of corporate communications services including corporate brand and reputation (issues) management, and strategic communication plans.
  2. Significant communication and engagement experience with expertise in delivering project engagement and communications activities.
  3. Demonstrated, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write fluently and persuasively in a range of styles and formats.
  4. Experience in project management to deliver project outcomes across several concurrent projects.
  5. Demonstrated, well developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet concurrent deadlines.
  6. Applies and promotes the principles of equity, diversity and work health and safety in the workplace.
