Full-Time Storeperson / Machine Operator required

Situated at our Salisbury South location

Monday to Friday Work hours between the time of 6:30 to 4:30

Northern Building Supplies are requiring a Machine Operator / Storeperson for our production facility. Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Efficiently set up and operate machinery to support smooth production processes.

Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Loading & Unloading: Safely and quickly load and unload products as required.

Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet the company’s rigorous quality standards by closely monitoring production.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following safety protocols and company guidelines.

Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure timely and effective production flow.

What We’re Looking For:

Forklift Licence: Highly regarded but not essential.

Experience: Previous experience in machine operation, especially within manufacturing or construction, is preferred. Experience with steel processing or reinforcing steel is a plus.

Technical Skills: A solid understanding of machinery operation, set-up, and maintenance.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on producing high-quality products with precision.

Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying and resolving machine-related issues to keep production moving smoothly.

Physical Ability: Handling heavy materials and at times completing physically demanding tasks. Capable of being on your feet for long periods.

Safety-First: A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures.
