About Us:

X-Golf is Australia's largest indoor golf entertainment venue, and as a result of continued growth nation-wide we are looking for a new Assistant Venue Manager for our soon to open, Ballarat venue.

Our venue combines state of the art X-Golf experience with excellent food and beverage offerings to provide entertainment for all ages under one roof.

With 6 state-of-the-art golf simulators, a PuttView simulator, full bar and kitchen, topped off with a high-end audio-visual setup for Sports in 4k and music, X- Golf Ballarat is positioned to be one of the go-to destinations for year-round indoor entertainment.

The Role:

We are actively recruiting a new Assistant Venue Manager to help support the team to success into the future.

The role will be reporting to and receiving support from the Venue Manager, and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Ensuring a high standard of customer experience and driving venue success
• Hosting events held at the venue including birthdays, corporate functions and bucks/hens events
• Liaising with the Venue Manager, Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator in regard to upcoming functions
• Understanding and maintaining golf simulators
• Assisting with managing stock levels, ordering, and stocktaking on a regular basis
• Assisting with maintaining the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensuring
  accuracy of data entry
• Supporting the rostering and management of casual staff

To be successful in your application, you will be able to demonstrate all, if not a combination of the following:

• A minimum of one (1) years of hospitality experience, preferably in a management capacity
• Flexibility across seven operating days - Including nights and weekends
• Current RSA certificate
• Proven leaderships skills, or the ability to lead a team and set priorities
• Basic computer, technology, and word processing skills
