Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist full time (38 hrs/week) to join our team in Lambton, NSW. If you have a strong background in machining and are skilled with lathes, mills, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining lathes, milling machines
• Generating Shop Drawing using Autodesk Fusion 360
• Generating CNC Cam Programmer Using Fusion 360 and SolidWorks
• Generating CNC Programmer using G code and M code
• Precision machining of components to specified tolerances
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring high-quality standards are met in all tasks
• Setting up and operate CNC Milling and turning center machines.
• Studying Engineering shop drawings and specifications to identify the material,

method and sequence of operations.

• Perform preventive maintenance periodically without absence.
• Checking machined parts and assembled metal parts using precision measuring

instruments E.g. Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring tape etc.

• Setting guides, stopper, Jigs and fixtures to perform machining operations.
• Perform quality visually and using measuring instruments and gauges.
• Perform metal grinding, cutting, drilling and taping.
• Assembling fabricated metal parts and machines components to

produce machines and equipment.

• Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and

mechanical parts.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Trade Certificate III in Metal Machining
• Minimum 5-year experience in a CNC machining and programming
• Must be Familiar with Okuma Milling OSP200300 control
• Must be Familiar with Mitsubishi controller
• Must Be familiar with 4-5 axis machining
• Must be proficient in Fusion 360 and Solidworks
• Proficiency with manual lathes, mills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office
