About the role
Reporting to the Construction Manager and on behalf of our valued client, we seek an experienced Electrical Construction Coordinator / Manager to oversee construction on our Capital Portfolio; for one significant project which involves the electrical cutover of supplies from an existing Switch room to a new 22kV Switch room. The new Switch room is in place and will soon be energised to allow the cutovers to occur over the next 18 months. In addition, there are there are several other smaller projects in various stages of completion with an electrical component.
It is expected that the resource would be able to help with solution development, constructability reviews, EHS reviews, contractor engagement, construction kick-off meetings, scope management and QA/QC during construction, and regular construction meetings.

If successful, you will be rewarded with:

• Monday to Friday roster | 40 hours per week on-site | up to 50 hours during execution

What Qualifications Do I Require?
• Trade Electrical Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in capital projects in a mining environment
• Extensive experience in switch room upgrades
• Organised with the ability to multitask
• Good communication between multiple work groups / stakeholders
• Strong EHS culture
• Ability to problem solve and use initiative
• Broad knowledge of electrical power distribution and communication networks
• Contractor supervisory experience
• Confidence to run weekly construction meetings
• Previous shutdown planning
