Westelec Industries has an opening for an Electrical Supervisor to join our trade team for an immediate start on a construction project, based in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Roster:

• 2:1 Roster
• Site Based Role - FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Karratha

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Electrical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of our trade team on a camp construction project and ensuring all safety and project targets are met in compliance with all statutory regulations, company standards, guidelines and procedures.

We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications and experience:

• Section 44 or Schedule 26 Certification
• A Grade Electrical Licence
• C-Class Drivers Licence
• White/Blue Card
• Provide First Aid/CPR & Low Voltage Rescue Certification
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and the delivery of quality service
• Previous experience in supervisory role
• Sound knowledge of mining camp construction
• Strong adherence to safety standards and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, or specifications
• Capable to maintain efficient record keeping and work autonomously with minimal supervision as well as have active participation within a trade team
• Ability to provide technical leadership to the project (where required) and set direction for best electrical installation and commissioning practices

The following qualifications and experience would be advantageous:

• RTIO Inducted
• High Voltage Switching Qualification
• Working at Heights & Confined Space Tickets
• Current National Police Clearance
• High-Risk Work Licence
