Our client is a hybrid between a buildings/advisory consultancy, building services design consultancy and a client side project management consultancy, meaning that they take projects from start to finish, including initial site inspections, technical due diligence, capital expenditure and lifecycle forecasting, asset repositioning, concept & detailed building services design and overall client-side project management.
Their niche is in existing buildings, so their projects are typically large base building and infrastructure upgrades and refurbishments within and can range from chiller replacements, switch room & lighting upgrades to make goods and full base building updates.
The clients that they work with are largely within corporate real estate, finance and government, and are usually asset owners, landlords, and facility managers, although sometimes they do partner with other consultancies.

Day to Day: * Take ownership for the execution/ delivery of projects. * Design and engineering reviews. * Develop and maintain cost plans, programs, and meeting minutes. * Liaise with the client on all matters relating to the project. * Manage the tender and tender evaluation process. * Chair PCG meetings on behalf of the client. * Act as the project Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all matters relating to the project. * Co-ordinate with third parties to achieve the desired outcome. * Submit project status reports as agreed with the client. * Attend site and monitor site progress as well as ensuring the project meets legislative and health and safety requirements. * Manage all testing and commissioning associated with the project. *
Please consider an application if you have the below criteria * Building Consultancy experience in Building Services (project management and/or consultancy) with a minimum of 10 years' experience with managing / leading projects. * A high-level understanding of the entire project life cycle from the concept to completion. * Ability to develop strong relationships with clients. * Degree qualified in a related field. * Proven organisational skills - organising your own and other people's workloads. * An outgoing personality with management experience. * Knowledge on relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia
