Depot Operations Manager

• Salary: $100K base + vehicle

• Location: Sydney, NSW
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Provided: Company Vehicle, Phone

• Workdays: 5½ days per week
• Mon-Fri: 7am-5/5:30pm (start/end times may vary based on efficiency and workload)
• Sat: 6am-10am
• Responsibilities: Load/unload B Double Trucks, oversee operations (forklift experience required)
• Ideal Candidate: Transport/depot experience, confident forklift operator, potentially a supervisor stepping up
• Team Structure: Office Admin, 2 Linehaul Drivers, 2 Local HR Drivers, 1 Forklift Driver (Ops Manager will be the 2nd Forklift Driver)

What You'll Do as Depot Operations Manager :

• Oversee all depot operations , ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Maximize load capacity to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage fleet allocation, linehaul coordination, and maintenance (R&M).
• Ensure compliance with NHVR rules & regulations .
• Handle pallet control, customer service, and OH&S compliance
• Monitor and report on Profit & Loss to optimize operational costs.
• Lead and manage staff , ensuring high performance and a strong team culture.

What We're Looking for in a Depot Manager :

• Strong operational background in transport & logistics.
• Hands-on experience in depot management with a track record of success.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
• Knowledge of NHVR regulations and transport industry compliance.
