About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacy Prahran is seeking a full-time Dispensary Technician to join our friendly team. As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety whilst maintaining inventory and provide exceptional customer service.

Your attention to detail, organisational skills and dedication to patient care will see you ensure that TerryWhite Chemmart’s standards and procedures are implemented and maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per doctors' orders
• Liaise with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the correct processing of prescriptions
• Maintain detailed records and inventory of medications
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering queries and addressing concerns
• Assist with the general operation and organisation of the dispensary
• Order stock in compliance with TGA government regulations
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician - prior experience in Medicinal Cannabis dispensing is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail; understanding the importance of processes plus keeping on top of the administration.
• Excellent communication and customer focused/patient interactive approach to pharmacy
• Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety
• Optimistic and resourceful outlook
• Immediate start available
