The Role
This hybrid position is perfect for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in dispensing and customer support. You’ll be responsible for both preparing medicinal cannabis prescriptions and handling escalated patient inquiries, all while collaborating closely with our pharmacy and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and prepare orders using our pharmacy portal linked to our online platform.
- Support pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions, record-keeping, and dispatching orders.
- Respond to escalated customer cases via Slack and email, addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy and customer service teams to resolve patient issues promptly.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant departments and ensure timely resolutions.
- Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to improving overall customer service processes.
- Stay up to date on product offerings, platform changes, and patient care improvements.
- Send and track responses from daily automated SMS messages using the ClickSend program to confirm patient orders
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy or Dispensary Technician Short Course (mandatory).
- 2+ years of dispensary technician experience (preferred).
- Proven customer service experience, ideally in healthcare or the medicinal cannabis sector.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an empathetic, patient-focused approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency with CRM systems like LiveChat, or Slack is a plus.
- Availability for rotational Saturday shifts.
