Victoria Park offers guests the choice of five award-winning wedding reception venues with private bars, exclusive outdoor decks providing unique city views across the rolling green hills of the parklands.

Our Event Spaces play host to some 1300 Events per annum.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events, the Wedding & Events Coordinator is primarily responsible for end to end venue event planning including :

• planning the event in conjunction with the client to ensure their event objectives are achieved.
• creating and upselling our preferred suppliers services to clients.
• preparation of event run sheets, floor plans and invoicing.
• conducting venue inspections.
• working in a team environment to support achievement of targets.
• establishing long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will

• be an experienced, confident and vibrant events professional with experience in an event management or wedding planning role or a similar position.
• be customer service focussed and highly passionate about the events industry, wedding planning experience is considered an advantage.
• possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
• have demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills and thrive under high work volume pressure.
• be competent to an intermediate or advanced level in MSOffice and experience with Ungerboeck software is an advantage.
• be available to work Tuesday-Saturday spread of hours.
• have exceptional presentation and personal grooming.
• show initiative and drive to succeed.
