About the Opportunity
Permanent Position
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EHS Advisor to join our EHS and Human Resources team located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Reporting to the EHS&Q Manager, the key objective of this role will be to provide EHS guidance and assistance, supporting the application and continuous improvement of the Saint-Gobain EHS Management System. You will ensure that the Pacific sites meet their environment, health and safety targets with specific responsibilities including:
- Supporting leaders and workers across several divisions in managing EHS risks.
- Contribute to incident investigations and conducting risk assessments.
- Implementing global Saint-Gobain standards into Pacific sites.
- Provide EHS advice, deliver training, and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Assist with EHS projects and contribute to Pacific EHS initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Minimum three years EH&S experience within a manufacturing environment highly desirable.
- Hold relevant EH&S qualifications (Cert IV in WHS)
- Be proficient in risk management.
- Have exposure to EHS reporting.
- Possess the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication and internal consulting skills together with the ability to establish priorities and meet set deadlines. Your strong attention to detail and accuracy are vital in securing this role. Some travel may be required.
