About the role

This is a casual position as a Laundry Operator at Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning in Keswick, SA 5035. As a Laundry Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of this family-owned dry cleaning business, ensuring high-quality standards and timely service for customers.

What you'll be doing

• Sort, inspect, and prepare items for cleaning, folding, and packaging
• Operate various laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing equipment to clean, dry, and press clothing and other textiles
• Adhere to strict quality control procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the laundry operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a laundry or dry cleaning environment, preferably in a similar role, OR, a desire and willingness to learn a new skill
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed procedures
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings
• A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
