Warehouse Worker – Forklift Operator

We are seeking a Warehouse / Storeperson to join our client’s team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes within Food Packaging manufacturing.

• Regular overtime available – average 45 hours per week.
• Casual with potential for permanency
• Monday to Friday
• Day shift: 7am until 3pm
• Pay: $32.25p/h + Penalty Rates

What We’re Looking For:

Physically fit – this role requires lifting and manual handling.
Strong reading and writing skills – accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained.
Forklift operation skills are required.
Reliability is key – punctuality and a strong work ethic are a must.
Own transport preferred for commuting reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying incoming goods (raw materials, labels, packaging) against delivery dockets.
• Preparing and issuing raw materials for production.
• Selecting and collecting the correct stock items, recording quantities, and setting them aside for production.
• Counting and returning unused stock to stores after production runs.
• Assisting with truck loading and unloading as required.
