Selection will be made at the N5 or N6 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.

Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) is Central Australia’s primary acute care service with a catchment area of approximately 50,000 residents across Alice Springs and up to 50 remote community locations. A component of Alice Springs hospital’s acute services are acute and rehabilitation stroke services – comprehensively servicing an average of 90 – 120 stroke patients per year. Unique to Alice Springs and Central Australia is the very high number of young clients up to 60% (compared with National averages of about 20%) under the care of this service.
The position is aimed at being instrumental to autonomously and collaboratively provide comprehensive, safe patient centred care to significantly improve stroke care outcomes Across Central Australia Region.
