Associate Advisor

Privately owned wealth management firm that focuses on strategic advice for a variety of clients and has been established for over 20 years.

Unlike most financial planning businesses, this firm has always provided a true fee-for-service advice model and is very "high touch" with their clients, contacting or meeting with them regularly.

The purpose of the position is to provide professional and proactive support to one of the Financial Advisers to enhance the client relationships and ensure they are well equipped to service their clients as per the practice service standard.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct joint client meetings with directors and consultants for both new and existing financial services clients
• Build client strategies for wealth creation, superannuation, and insurance
• Responsible for completing the fact finding, client goals and objectives, analyse and client prioritise recommendations to assist clients achieve their desired outcomes
• Document strategies via SOA or ROA requests provided to internal Paraplanners.
• Assist with the presentation of SOAs
• Take responsibility for pre-meeting preparation and then file notes and action items for CSO's following client meetings
• Conduct and document annual client portfolio reviews, make recommendations where necessary
• Attend the quarterly Investment Committee meetings

To be successful in the role, you must have experience working in a professional financial planning business in a similar style role. This organisation is very well established and has a low number of clients, but a very high-touch service; quality over quantity. Only candidates with excellent communication skills and attention to detail should apply.
